Overview
Book a seat in the dog friendly dining area and your furry friend will be spoilt with attention as well as their very own specially-created dog menu from local supplier, Sir Woofchesters. Bark Burgers, anyone? Or perhaps your pup will be tempted by the Sniff & Snaffle Sausages?
Just want to stop by for a drink and a few dog treats? That’s perfectly okay too. With cosy nooks and roaring log fires, the dog friendly section is a lovely place to enjoy both a relaxed pub meal or casual drinks.
When it comes to the menu, the handcrafted pie is a must. Wash it down with one of the award-winning local ales from Weetwood while your pup snoozes contentedly at your feet. The bar is also well stocked with a fantastic selection of gins and wines from the old and new worlds alike.
Alternatively, enjoy a tipple on the outdoor terrace while waiting for your takeaway pizza. Yes, The Fishpool Inn has its very own woodstone oven making delicious thin crust pizzas.
Perfectly positioned on the edge of Delamere Forest in the beautiful Cheshire countryside, we think that you’ll agree that The Fishpool Inn is a food and drink haven for dog owners and their best four-legged friends.

You can’t take your dog to The Fishpool Inn without also visiting Delamere Forest. With nearly 1,000 acres of natural woodland to explore, the forest is one huge adventure on four paws for playful pups. We love the Little Switzerland walk; a circular trail through a pretty valley with stunning views. At just over three miles, it’s a perfect pre or post-lunch stroll. We also like nearby Whitegate Way, a six-mile stretch along an old railway track.
