The Barn in Lanhydrock is the kind of space you immediately settle into and feel at home. Once part of the Lanhydrock Estate, this fantastic property is designed with comfort in mind, and is packed with modern features that lend a real sense of luxury while still retaining its original character.

For dogs...

Two four-legged friends are welcome to join you at The Barn in Lanhydrock for a fee of £40 per pooch per stay.

The outdoor space fully is enclosed so your pup can safely sniff their way around while you BBQ or soak up the sun.

The Lanhydrock Estate is only five minutes from the front door with 1,000 acres of parkland, woodland and heath, to explore, as well as two miles of the River Fowey.

For humans...

While we all hope for sun when on holiday, the lovely log burner is perfect for keeping cosy during cooler breaks.

Grown-ups can listen to music on the Sonos speaker while the kids play on the Xbox and PS4 (which they’ll no doubt quickly uncover in the twin room).

The bubbling hot tub offers a blissful experience after a day spent exploring; it’s the best place to rest weary bones.

Overview

The Barn at Lanhydrock is an inviting self-catering retreat, blending traditional charm with modern comforts. The hub of the home is the open plan kitchen, dining, and living area featuring a pitched roof with beautiful rustic beams.

Guests are greeted by a cosy ambiance, accentuated by a wood burning stove and mood-enhancing lighting, as well as a 55″ Smart TV equipped with Netflix and a Sonos speaker for entertainment.

The fully equipped kitchen features a range cooker with a double oven, dishwasher, Tassimo coffee machine, and other modern amenities. The dining table comfortably seats six unless you’d prefer to BBQ and dine al fresco.

There are three pretty bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a double bed and an ensuite bathroom, while bedroom two can be configured as a super king or a twin, and also has an ensuite shower room.

Bedroom three has twin beds but, equipped with a 44″ TV, Xbox One and PS4 Pro, it doubles up as a games room too.

The barn’s outdoor space features a stone garden area with a covered dining table as well as a rejuvenating hot tub – a perfect respite after exploring Cornwall’s breath-taking landscapes.

For The Dogs

Two dogs are invited to join you at The Barn in Lanhydrock for a fee of £40 per pooch. Please bring all your own doggy equipment – bed, bowls, blankets and toys – with you.

You don’t need to be a fitness fanatic to enjoy all of the amazing outdoor activities on offer within Lanhydrock’s beautiful countryside, just a love of fresh air and beautiful scenery will do. Set on the edge of Bodmin Moor with the coastline a few miles away, Lanhydrock holidays offer something for everyone whether that’s meandering strolls followed by a decadent Cornish afternoon tea, or a more challenging trek, like a hike to the iconic Cheesewring, to get the pulse rate racing.
