Overview
Strathspey Lodge is arranged over three large floors with a light and airy open plan kitchen, dining and living area featuring floor to ceiling windows. It offers plenty of space for families or friends to seek out cosy corners but come together to dine and socialise. We particularly love the cosy wood burning stove and the incredible views across the open countryside and on towards the Cairngorm mountain range.
Enjoy breakfast al fresco on the wooden balcony accessed off the living room. Or perhaps you’d prefer to use it for star gazing later in the evening? The garden terrace is perfect for sitting out with an early morning cuppa or late afternoon dram while your furry friend stretches their legs. There’s a babbling brook meandering through the garden so keep a towel close at hand if you have a playful pup partial to a paddle.
On arrival, you’ll find a lovely welcome pack to help you settle in: the adults can enjoy a glass of Prosecco or one of the fine local beers and there’s hot chocolate topped with marshmallows for the younger members of your party.

The Cairngorms are Britain’s largest National Park and present almost endless possibilities for the outdoor explorer. But there’s one place that has it all: Glenmore Forest Park. Miles and miles of forest tracks enable you to explore some of the most beautiful places the Cairngorms has to offer: walk to the the ethereally beautiful waters of An Lochan Uaine (‘the Green Loch’), follow the babbling waters of the burn from Allt Mor, or if you want more of a challenge, head for the Ryvoan Pass and climb Meall a’ Bhuachaille. Wherever you choose for your adventure, you won’t be disappointed.
