Overview
From the moment you arrive, the Atlantic Ocean and the awe-inspiring coastline – there’s a two mile stretch of beach on the doorstep – are an ever-present reminder that you are somewhere where nature rules. Inside, every part of the hotel has been designed to envelope you – and your pooch – in the best of contemporary Cornish comfort.
If you want to experience the best possible views, opt for one of the dog friendly beach lofts. With freestanding baths with a floor-to-ceiling outlook over the ocean, these spacious suites combine the modern feel of a city loft with warm textures, sustainable design and ocean vistas.
When it comes to dining, dogs are welcome in The Living Space; a great alternative to the main Zacry’s Restaurant if you prefer not to leave your pup in your room. The food is simple, seasonal and delicious. Go for a sundowner and sit back and relax on the comfy sofas while marvelling at the beautiful sunset.
You can also take your dog out for dinner at The Beach Hut. A minute’s walk from the hotel, it’s relaxed dining at its best. You’ll want to ask for a seat by the window.
Head to the Swim Club for a heavenly massage if you’re in need of a little pampering. A dip in the infinity pool with views over the ocean is not to be missed. After all, you’ll have earned it after all the ball throwing and cliff path wandering.
For The Dogs
Two furry friends are welcome to join you at Watergate Bay Hotel for a fee of £15 per night for the first dog and £5 per night for an additional dog.
Please BYO food and bowls as none are kept at the hotel. Dog beds are available upon request, but best to do so in advance.
Dogs are welcome everywhere other than the main restaurant, spa and family play area.

Free parking is provided for one car per room. There are four universal electric vehicle chargers in front of the hotel for use by guests. You can reserve a spot and pay for the electricity through your electric car mobile app.
Special Instructions
Please keep four-legged friends off the furniture, including beds. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times in the public areas. Please read the house rules.
The Area
Famous for its two-mile stretch of golden sand, Watergate Bay can be found on Cornwall’s north coast, just three miles from the buzzing town of Newquay. Cornwall is home to some of the most sensational seascapes and happily, you can share so many of them with your dog.
