One for the lovers of storybooks and fairy tales, this perfectly formed pod offers couples and families a magical escape within one of Somerset's pettiest corners of countryside. Don't let the whimsical exterior fool you though, as inside, this beautiful burrow is a stylish haven with all the little luxuries needed for an incredible stay.

For dogs...

Two four-legged friends are welcome to join their humans at Wabbit at The Little Burrow for a fee of £40 per pooch per stay.

Dogs will love sniffing their way around the unusual, partially enclosed outdoor space … but keep them off the grassy roof!

With rural walks on the doorstep and the centre of Wells within easy reach, both countryside canines and city pooches are catered for at Wabbit.

For humans...

While there are three curvaceous burrows at Rookery Farm, each feels quite secluded.

The outside space is a dream with a sun-soaked patio, a wood fired hot tub, and a little timber building with bench seating and an indoor BBQ.

On site is a communal play area that includes a mini underground house with underground burrow, as well as a café, farm shop, brewery and picnic area.

Overview

Wabbit at The Little Burrow provides a serene escape amidst Somerset’s countryside, offering a blend of cosy, curvy interiors and playful outdoor spaces.

Exposed brick work, timber panelling and thoughtfully chosen furnishings deliver a rustic yet stylish ambiance while the chunky knits and waffle linens make for an inviting sanctuary that’s perfect for cosying up or winding down in. 

The living area features a sofa (which converts to a bed), alongside a fully equipped kitchen complete with breakfast bar. Together with five leather topped barstools, it provides the ideal spot to enjoy a coffee or breakfast, or to decide on the day’s plans.

The three uniquely styled bedrooms cater to different tastes: a king size master bedroom with a circular window, a light-filled second bedroom with French doors, and a whimsical children’s hideaway with sturdy bunk beds. The family bathroom includes a luxurious walk-in shower and two hand basins.

Outdoors, the private wood fired hot tub and an indoor BBQ shed beckon for relaxation or evenings spent stargazing. The wider site offers a communal play area, a café, a farm shop, and a brewery, as well as easily accessible walking trails.

For The Dogs

Two dogs are invited to join you at Wabbit for a fee of £40 per pooch per stay. Please bring all your own doggy equipment – bed, bowls, blankets and toys – with you.

Special Instructions

Please keep pooches off the beds and the furniture and do not leave them unaccompanied in the property at any time.

If you have a reactive dog, please be aware that Rookery Farm is also home to livestock.

The Area

Should you wish to leave the idyllic surroundings of The Little Burrow, Somerset offers a plethora of places perfect for incredible dog friendly adventures. Wells’ restaurants and boutiques are a short drive away and pooches are welcome to visit the beautiful cathedral with you (ground floor only) if they are kept on a lead. See how long it takes them to sniff out the dog biscuits in The Loft Café. Alternatively, the nearby Mendip Hills has over 440 km of Public Rights of Way to explore.
