Overview
On a cold day, you can’t find a better spot to put your paws up than in front of The Westleton Crown’s roaring log fire or cosy wood burner. Sink into the sofa with your favourite tipple. However, during the summer months, the terrace is most definitely the place to be.
When it comes to the menu, you can be assured of seasonal produce, locally caught fish or reared meats, and great vegan options, too. The Sunday roast is a hit, although the beer battered haddock comes a close second along with the vegan wellington. And from crisp, zesty, fruity whites to smooth, bold, spicy reds, there’s a whole host of delicious wines for the non-drivers to choose from to accompany their meals.
If you’re in no rush to head home, why not treat yourself to a stay in one of the gorgeous bedrooms? Believing that dogs are very much part of the family, many of the rooms at The Westleton Crown are dog friendly and up to two dogs per room are welcome to join you.
The Sandy Paws stay includes a cosy blanket, tasty treats and a sausage breakfast for your best furry friend. Dog bowls are provided and canine companions are welcome to join you in the bar, snug or garden room while you dine. How nice is that?

There is a fantastic selection of beautiful dog friendly beaches within easy driving distance of The Westleton Crown, from nearby Dunwich and Walberswick, to Thorpeness, Southwold and Felixstowe. Drive to Adleburgh for a walk through its positively swoon worthy streets. It is one of the UK’s most delightful seaside towns. Don’t leave without visiting Aldeburgh Fish & Chip Shop. Widely regarded as the best in Britain, it has fans as diverse as Spanish chef José Pizarro and local boy, Ed Sheeran.
