Good to know

Overview

Whether you choose to take a seat in the restaurant next to the cosy log burner or enjoy the garden on a sunny day, both you and  your four-legged friend will receive a sincerely warm welcome. There’s even a special menu designed with pups in mind, featuring tasty treats and their very own beer and wine to slurp – non-alcoholic, of course!

When it comes to the menu, the produce is all locally sourced, from the award-winning cheeses to the Fenland vegetables and the home-grown meats. The Newmarket sausage and mash is ever popular but the Suffolk sirloin steak is divine. Save some room for the cheeseboard, though. You won’t regret it. The bar is well stocked with an extensive selection of wines, beer and craft ales, and the gin offering is vast.

Want to make a night or weekend of it? The Three Blackbirds has put together a special Muddy Paws stay for discerning dog owners. Up to two dogs are welcome to join you and the package includes a cosy blanket, dog bowls, flavoursome treats and a sausage breakfast for your pup, plus a wonderful dinner and a hearty breakfast for two. The bedrooms are all newly renovated (much like the pub itself following a devastating fire in 2018) and super luxurious. We know you’ll have the best time.

It’s is a seven mile long embankment believed to be around 1,450 years old. The Three Churches walk includes three pretty surrounding villages: Moulton, Dalham and Gazeley, with many footpaths and bridal ways to amble along. It spans approximately four miles and is very popular with dog owners.
