One of Cheshire’s prettiest spots, Tarporley appears in the Domesday Book of 1086. Back then, it was home to just eight households, but today is one of the largest villages in the heart of the Cheshire, with antique and curiosity shops, craft and gift stores and some of the chicest fashion boutiques and spas in the county. Further afield, the surrounding countryside is a paw-fect playground for pooches. Walk along the Sandstone Trail and stop off at Beeston Castle for stunning views across the county.
