The Rapids Cottage

A home away from home, downstairs there’s a cosy living area with a sumptuous sofa and a warming log burner – a prime snoozing spot for furry friends. The separate kitchen and dining area has everything you need should you wish to stay in and cook up a storm.

Upstairs, the cottage boasts two gorgeous bedrooms; one king size, with its very own balcony, and one which can be made up as a king or a twin room. Both rooms have amazing views and if you leave the windows open, you’ll fall asleep to the swooshing of the rapids. The modern bathroom has a large walk-in shower, perfect for easing the aches of the day’s dog-walking adventures.

Outside, there’s a decked area where you’ll want to sit and sip your morning cup of tea. Spend your evenings snuggled up watching your favourite movie in the private outdoor woodland cinema or under the star-filled sky enjoying the four person William Holland jetted bath.

Please note, the cottage is reached via a steep, uneven walkway.

Three dogs are welcome to join you at The Rapids Cottage and are included in the price. There are extending gates to semi-close off the decked area if you’d like a little more security for your four-legged friend. However, at 90cm high, there’s still potential for keen jumpers to escape if they really want to. Dog bowls will be waiting for your best furry friend but bring their bed for them to snooze on.

From £160 per night with no additional charge for dogs.

Parking

There is one allocated parking space close to the cottage with further road parking nearby.

Please keep four-legged friends off the furniture and do not leave them unattended at the cottage.
