1-2 North West Circus Place, Edinburgh, EH3 6ST
Visit WebsiteHungry pups will love The Pantry, one of Edinburgh’s most-loved cafés open for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Foodies, families, furry-friends … there’s something on the brunch-focused menu for everyone.
Overview
Set yourself up for a day of dog walking by opting for the Sunshine on Stockbridge, a feast of sweet potato, plum tomatoes, grilled courgette, guacasaca, free range poached eggs and poblanos (meat-eaters can add BBQ chorizo). There’s also eggs benedict for the traditionalists and waffles o’bacon for those who can’t decide between sweet and savoury.
Take a seat outside in the sun and sit back and sip your freshly poured coffee (or Bloody Mary, we won’t judge) while watching the world go by. But if you’re in a rush, you can grab a coffee and morning roll to go on weekdays. Dogs will wag their tails for the jar of treats just for them or perhaps add an extra rasher of bacon to your order if the smell proves too tempting for your pooch.
For The Dogs
Four-legged friends are currently only allowed in the outdoor seating area at The Pantry. One of the team will be happy to bring out a water bowl for your pup if they’re feeling thirsty.
Opening Hours
Monday – Sunday: 9am – 4pm with food served until 3.30pm.
Parking
Paid street parking is available in the vicinity.
Feeling full? Head to nearby Inverleith Park for a leisurely stroll with great views across the city including Edinburgh Castle to walk it off. With tree-lined paths and a pretty duck pond, it’s perfect for a post-brunch amble, but keep your dog on a lead around the swans. For a more challenging adventure, a walk up Salisbury Crags and Arthur’s Seat from Holyrood Park is a must. The views over Edinburgh and beyond are spectacular.
