Should you wish to stay over, two dogs per room are welcome for a small fee of £20 per pooch per night, and bowls and treats will be waiting for them. Not all the bedrooms are dog friendly so do check in advance of booking.

This three centuries-old historic inn welcomes two-legged and four-legged guests to put their paws up for a while and enjoy a drink, a bite to eat, and even an overnight stay.
Food is served at breakfast, lunchtimes and in the evenings. The menu is comprised of much-loved pub classics alongside regularly changing seasonal specialities showcasing local farms and producers.
To accompany your meal, choose from the carefully curated wine selection or try one of the Cheshire cask ales or fabulously prepared artisan gins. There’s juices, teas and coffees for the juniors or non-drinkers.
The inn has 16 newly renovated rooms: a mix of twin, double and family rooms, each with thoughtfully chosen furnishings, the fluffiest pillows and complimentary toiletries from Molton Brown. Breakfast is served between 8am – 11am meaning a lovely lie in … if your pooch allows.

Canine companions are welcomed with water bowls and doggy treats.
