If your furry friend would like to put their paws up and request room service, no problem! The Devonshire Arms has put together a paw-fect doggy menu for them to select from – with beer and wine, too.
Truly pampered pooches will love the hotel’s four-poster dog beds, available to hire for an extra charge. Want to make sure their paws are pristine before they turn down for the night? Treat them to a warm bath using the outdoor doggy wash.
While all the bedrooms are beautiful, prepare to swoon over the four-poster beds in the luxury and superior rooms. If you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply want to treat yourself, we definitely recommend booking one.
The Brasserie is lovely for a relaxed bite to eat, but if the sun is shining, ask for table on the terrace. Slowly sip your glass of wine while admiring the incredible views over The Dales. Dogs are welcome to dine with you on select tables in The Brasserie, please inform a member of staff when booking.
If one of your group is content to take the dog for stroll around the grounds, the spa is the place to head to for a dip in the pool or a relaxing treatment or two.

What was once a humble inn is now home to luxurious décor, fine dining, and superior service, all while maintaining an air of relaxed charm that your furry friend will love.
There are dog friendly bedrooms across all the room categories, from a sweet classic bedroom to an opulent suite. With a wonderful doggy welcome pack, your pooch will feel right at home whichever you opt for. Humans are not forgotten and receive complimentary access to our spa which includes a hydrotherapy pool, sauna and steam room.
There are three options when it comes to dog friendly dining: the brasserie, lounge or terrace – there’s plenty of seating outside and the views are breathtaking. If you’d prefer to snuggle up in your room, room service is available for dogs as well as humans.
For The Dogs
Canine companions receive their very own welcome pack at The Devonshire Arms Hotel. It includes bowls, a towel, and yummy treats. Either bring your own bed or blanket or splash out on a four-poster dog bed, available to hire at £35 per night.
Furry friends are not forgotten about at mealtimes and can order room service from the Canine Delights menu. There’s doggy beer or wine to wash it down with.
With 30,000 acres of English countryside on the doorstep, hearty adventures with your four-legged friend are guaranteed. If you need to clean muddy paws after countryside strolls, head to the warm outdoor dog bath.

Special Instructions
Please note that The Garden Room restaurant only has a handful of dog friendly tables. However, four-legged friends are warmly welcomed in the Brasserie (bar area), lounge and on the terrace.
Dogs must be kept on a lead in all public areas of the hotel, and must not be left unattended in your room.
With rolling hills, wild uplands, meandering rivers and picturesque towns and villages, the Yorkshire Dales are rich in dog friendly days out and adventures. The dramatic arch of the Priory Church at Bolton Abbey is perhaps one of the most iconic silhouettes in the area, and there’s a lovely riverside stroll right from the hotel to the heart of Bolton Abbey Estate.
