The Cabin is designed for two, with uninterrupted views across the Amber Valley, a king size bed facing panoramic glass doors and an outdoor bath perfectly positioned for sunrise soaks. Adults only, one small dog welcome. It's a genuinely special place for couples who want to properly switch off.

For dogs...

One small, well-behaved dog is welcome at The Cabin for £10 per night. This is an adults-only, couples retreat, so your dog gets the same peaceful setting you do. No noise, no crowds, just open Derbyshire countryside.

Please keep your dog on a lead around the driveways, as free-range chickens roam the orchard and a public footpath runs through the wider Beech Farm site.

A dog friendly pub is less than a mile away on quiet country lanes, and local walks are included in the guest information folder.

For humans...

A king size bed dressed in luxury linen, panoramic glass doors framing the Amber Valley and a welcome hamper with Prosecco on ice waiting on arrival. Sourdough, free range eggs, local butter, chocolates, coffee pods, fresh orange and milk are all included too.

Outside, the outdoor bath, fire pit, hammock and deck dining area all look out over the same uninterrupted countryside views. The combination of all three in one dog friendly stay is genuinely rare.

Overview

The Cabin is a fully insulated, self-contained glamping cabin set within its own private, secluded spot at Beech Farm in the hamlet of Wheatcroft, near Matlock. It sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of the Peak District, within a wildflower meadow with uninterrupted views over the Amber Valley. It sleeps two adults and is designed specifically for couples.

Inside, the king size bed faces expansive glass doors so the view is the first thing you see in the morning. The cabin is insulated with sheep’s wool and has climate controlled heating throughout. You’ll find a fully equipped handcrafted kitchen with hob, fridge freezer and microwave, a Nespresso coffee machine, Smart TV, Wi-Fi, USB charging points and a DAB radio.

The ensuite shower room has Villeroy and Boch fittings and a Dyson hairdryer. White Company towels, bathrobes and Plum and Ashby toiletries are provided, along with maps, books, playing cards and binoculars for making the most of the wildlife on the doorstep.

Outside, the deck and garden space give you an outdoor bath, fire pit, hammock and dining area, all looking out over open Derbyshire countryside. Logs and kindling are included for the fire pit. A welcome hamper arrives with Prosecco on ice, fresh sourdough, free range eggs, local butter, chocolates, coffee pods, fresh orange and milk.

For The Dogs
