Good to know

Overview

The traditional 18th century building is charming from the outside and super stylish on the inside. Dogs are welcome everywhere apart from the restaurant area at the rear of the premises but we think that the Harby Bar is the place to be anyway.

Canine companions will love snoozing next to the cosy log fire once they’ve sniffed out the jar of doggy treats behind the bar. However, on a sunny day,  you can’t beat a seat on the beautiful outdoor terrace or in the spacious beer garden.

The Bottle and Glass is open seven days a week serving delicious food and an impressive selection of drinks. Opt for Beef Wellington if you’re unsure what to order, although you might feel the tap of paw hoping for a morsel or two to be shared. Save space for a pudding. Trust us, you will be tempted.

For The Dogs

There are water bowls for thirsty pups and a jar of treats for them to sniff out behind the bar.

Opening Hours

Wednesday – Saturday: 12pm – 9pm
Sunday: 12pm – 6pm

There is a car park to the side of the pub.

The Area

You’ll find The Glass and Bottle on the High Street in the quaint village of Harby. The pub is within walking distance of the Sustrans NCN 64 cycle path, which runs directly from Lincoln to Harby. The traffic-free route is 6.6 miles long, so a nice two to three hour walk with your four-legged friend by your side. Doddington Hall & Gardens is a ten-minute drive away and while dogs aren’t allowed in the hall or the more formal gardens, there are a number of walks for them to enjoy across the wider estate.
