While the Resort Barns offer the luxury of a private enclosed dog run, dogs must remain on a lead while exploring the rest of the meadow to keep the local wildlife (and other guests) happy.
To keep the boutique interiors looking their best, please keep pups off the furniture and beds. And if you’ve spent the day adventuring, please make use of the heated outdoor dog wash to ensure only clean paws head inside for a cosy evening.

A ten-minute stroll along the Llangollen Canal leads you directly into the heart of Ellesmere, a charming market town brimming with dog friendly cafés and traditional pubs. For a proper adventure, head to The Mere, where 48 acres of parkland and woodland trails offer endless sniffing opportunities by the water’s edge. If you’re feeling more intrepid, the dramatic Colemere Country Park is just a short drive away, or you can cross the border into Wales to walk the magnificent Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, a UNESCO World Heritage site with views that will take your breath away.
