And so will your dog. Four-legged friends are welcome to drink and dine in the bar and out on the terrace. There are water bowls, blankets and Sir Woofchester’s treats for them, and even a doggy roast dinner on Sundays.
For the human chaperones, there are lots of lovely options: grab a quick bite in the bar from the delicious selection of small plates or enjoy a more indulgent dinner and sample the ever-changing seasonal menu from award-winning head chef, Hefin Roberts. If you’re stuck for what to choose, the Sandy Mount House signature burger is always a winner in our eyes.
Should you wish to make an overnight of it, four out of the seven uniquely designed bedrooms are dog friendly. Travel cots and fold-out beds are also provided for children under 15. Whether you choose from Driftwood, Shell, Pebble or Dunes, a boutique experience awaits. Think complimentary products by Molton Brown, White Company bed linen, fluffy dressing gowns and slippers, and a Nespresso machine so you can enjoy an early-morning coffee while you admire the sea views.

There is a free private car park a short walk away, or you can use the pay and display car park situated across from SMH to the side of the Village Hall.
Special Instructions
Please keep four-legged friends under close control in all communal areas and do not leave them unattended in your room.
The Area
Treat your four-legged friend to a stroll along the shore after your trip to Sandy Mount House. We recommend heading to the south side of Rhosneigr and walking along the award-winning Broad Beach – or Traeth Llydan in Welsh. It’s popular for canoeing and surfing, and its rock pools and miles of clean sand are also great for dogs and children to explore. If sandy paws are not for you, enjoy a dog walk around nearby Llyn Maelog. You can easily amble around the lake on the public footpath that hugs the shoreline.
