There’s plenty of open space for scenic dog walks, as well as being on the doorstep of some of the UK’s finest trails.
For humans...
Choose from three chic retreats – Greenway Hideaway, Galmpton Creek Hideaway and Ditsum Hideaway.
Each hideaway has incredible river views which the floor to ceiling windows really make the most of.
The grillers in the group will want to seek out the BBQ. The covered decked area means you can eat outdoors whatever the weather.

Overview
Set along the tranquil River Dart, this hidden gem comprises five inviting lodges, three of which are dog friendly and beautifully equipped to ensure a memorable stay for both humans and their furry friends.
Step inside any of these cosy retreats and you’ll find impeccably designed interiors brimming with modern comforts to ensure a totally relaxed holiday. The open plan kitchen, dining and living spaces are wonderfully welcoming with floor to ceiling windows providing picturesque views of the River Dart and the surrounding countryside.
The modern kitchens have all the equipment needed to rustle up a feast as well as dining tables to gather around. Unless you’d prefer to BBQ and eat outdoors. The surrounding trees and planting offer plenty of privacy meaning you can spend quality time with your loved ones sitting on the decking or dining al fresco.
The lovely sitting areas have sumptuous sofas to sink into where you can put your feet up and watch your favourite TV shows while you’re away. There are plenty of cosy corners for your dog to curl up in; just bring their bed or favourite blanket with you.
There are two bedrooms to choose from at each hideaway, with the master bedrooms benefitting from their own ensuite bathrooms. Land & Water hand wash, body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided for guests.
For The Dogs
One dog per hideaway is welcome to join you, and you’ll find bowls waiting for your pooch.
There’s plenty of outdoor space for furry friends to explore, but dogs must be kept on their lead within the grounds.

Price
From £292 per night, with a minimum stay of three nights. Dogs are charged at a rate of £5 per night.

There is private parking for two cars per hideaway. You’ll find a 3-phase EV Easee Charger located at the top of the main driveway.
Special Instructions
Please keep four-legged friends off the furniture, and do not leave them unattended in your hideaway. Dogs must be kept on their lead within the resort.
The Area
River Dart Hideaway is in the ideal location for exploring Devon’s stunning countryside and scenic coastline. Just a short walk away is Greenway Quay, nestled on the river below the neighbouring Greenway Estate, Agatha Christie’s former holiday home (dogs on leads are welcome in the garden). From here you can take the Greenway Ferry to Dittisham, an unspoilt and exceptionally beautiful riverside village. Enjoy the tranquil location and stop for a drink and a bite to eat at The Ferry Boat Inn.
