Laid-back but luxurious, Penventon Park Hotel is the Cornish escape that you've been looking for if you want to experience an extraordinary dog friendly holiday in stunning surroundings. Independently owned for the past 50 years, the hotel has perfected sophisticated hospitality while making guests feel right at home ... albeit, a very glamorous home.

For dogs...

The dog friendly bedrooms all have their very own patio overlooking a small lawn area. With semi-private seating, it’s the perfect spot for a morning coffee while your pooch stretches their legs.

Each Very Important Pooch receives a carefully curated welcome basket with a bed, blanket, bowls, towels and treats.

It’s not just the humans who are spoilt for choice with mouth-watering meals at the Penventon … doggy diners receive their own menu to choose from too.

For humans...

Gin drinkers will fall head over paws for the fabulous copper bar. Stocked with 140 gins (and 120 wines), you’ll need to stay awhile to sample them all.

If your pup is content to snooze in your room for an hour or two, Penventon’s leisure club is the place to head. With a hot tub, swimming pool, sauna and treatment rooms to try out, a blissful time is guaranteed.

Prepare to leave with interiors inspiration, particularly if you opt for one of the Botanical rooms, inspired by the great gardens of Cornwall.

Good to know

Overview

A luxurious Cornish retreat, Penventon Park Hotel offers guests a stylish place to call home with an abundance of dog friendly adventures within easy reach. Whichever of the fifteen dog friendly rooms you opt for (choose from superior double, twin or family, depending on the number of guests), you’ll be enveloped by the welcoming interiors and cosy ambience ready to relax and reset for exciting adventures with your four-legged friend.

We particularly love that not only do dogs stay for free (two pooches per room), they are treated to their very own welcome basket. Humans are not forgotten and will find a selection of fruit and herbal teas, artisanal coffee, and exquisite Noble Isle bath and body products in each room.

There are two options when it comes to dog friendly dining, The Arbour and The Lounge. Alternatively, in warmer weather, there’s plenty of seating outside should you wish to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat in the sun. If you’d prefer to snuggle up in your room, room service is available 24/7 too, including a Midnight Munchies menu.

For The Dogs

Pooches receive their very own welcome basket at the Penventon. It includes a bed, a blanket, bowls, a towel, yummy treats and a few more little extras. They’re not forgotten about at mealtimes either and can choose from their very own doggy menu.

Price

From £189 per night inclusive of breakfast, with no additional charge for dogs.
