For dogs...

Pooches partial to a snooze in the sun will adore the balcony off the living room where they can rest their paws while keeping one eye on the comings and goings below.

The open plan layout is perfect for pups who like to be close to their pack, while nervous dogs will appreciate that one of the bedrooms is on the ground floor so they can sleep close to their humans.

A two-minute stroll from the beach, expect your dog to be excitedly waiting lead-in-mouth for that first walk of the day.

For humans...

Perched above Praa Sands’ mile-long stretch of sand, it’s all about the views at this heavenly Cornish pad. Come rain or come shine, they won’t fail to take your breath away.

One of the nicest master bedrooms we’ve ever experienced, sleep with the blinds open to wake to the sky tinged with pretty pink and purple sunrise hues.

Need a little bit of help to get going in the morning. The easy-to-use Nespresso coffee machine will have you reaching for your walking boots in minutes.

Overview

Downstairs, the living and cooking area boasts an open plan layout which feels spacious and light-filled thanks to the glass sliding doors that open out to a roomy deck. It’s the perfect spot to hug a morning coffee or to sip on a sundowner or two come the evening.

The two roomy sofas create offer perfect place to unwind, whether that’s to take in the rolling waves and stunning skyscapes in the distance, curl up with a favourite read in front of the wood burner, or perhaps sit watch a show on the smart TV.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped should you wish to stay in and cook up a storm. We love the breakfast bar where you can sit and watch the chef in action. The dining table is neatly tucked in the corner of the room and comfortably seats six. However, when the weather is good, you’ll definitely want to dine al fresco.

Three wonderful bedrooms mean plenty of space for six guests, with the exquisite upper floor master suite having its own Juliet balcony and ensuite bathroom. All rooms have deeply comfortable mattresses and beautiful décor, creating sumptuous sanctuaries for retreating to after days spent exploring Cornwall.

For The Dogs

Up to two dogs are invited to join you at Ocean View. Please bring all your own doggy equipment – bed, bowls, blankets and toys – with you.

From £699 for a three-night stay, plus £50 per pooch per stay for up to two accompanying dogs.

The Area

Ideally placed above Praa Sands’ mile long stretch of fine sand, the delights of Cornish beach life lie quite literally on the Ocean View’s doorstep. Within 10 minutes’ drive are the popular coastal towns of Porthleven in one direction, and Marazion in the other where a plethora of coastal paths and walks can be relished along with visits to some of the area’s best-known landmarks like St Michael’s Mount and Porthleven’s harbour.
