For those moments when your pup needs a high-energy run, a fully enclosed dog park for off-lead zoomies is located just 10 minutes away in Trefriw village, right near the enchanting Fairy Falls.

To keep the park a serene environment for everyone, four-legged friends must be kept on leads while on-site, and dedicated dog waste bins are conveniently located throughout the grounds.

The Area

While the quiet of the parkland might tempt you to spend all day on your private patio, the surrounding Conwy Valley is far too beautiful to ignore. A short stroll leads you directly from the park to the banks of the River Conwy, perfect for peaceful waterside wandering. For a bird’s-eye view of the valley, follow the forest paths up to the Cadair Ifan Goch rock outcrop, where you and your pup can soak in spectacular vistas across the landscape. If you’re feeling more intrepid, a ten-minute drive brings you to the gateway of Gwydir Forest, a sprawling playground of mountain biking and walking trails of every length. From here, you can head into the heart of Betws-y-Coed to enjoy a riverside walk or tackle the much-loved Llyn Elsi circular, where the panoramic mountain views are guaranteed to take your breath away.
