Four-legged friends are welcome in The Gamekeeper’s Lodge and Dalesgate Lodge. Both welcome one canine companion, potentially two if agreed in advance.

Pups will love all the outdoor space to sniff around … not just within the park itself, Long Ashes has 841 square miles of National Park on its doorstep.

Also located at Long Ashes, The Gamekeeper’s Inn welcomes canine guests. Choose a cosy corner in the bar or snug and indulge in a hearty meal – the food is locally sourced, freshly prepared and thoroughly delicious.

For humans...

Long Ashes has an onsite leisure club with a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room and gym. Full complementary access is included in your stay from the moment you check in to when you check out.

Think you’ll miss your coffee fix while away? Absolutely not. The park has its very own coffee shop – the Woodland Café – perfect for a caffeine fix or a light bite. Dogs are invited to join you on the patio.

A welcoming holiday park surrounded by spectacular scenery, the lodges at Long Ashes offer a lovely opportunity for you to explore the Yorkshire Dales National Park and have somewhere homely to put your paws up when you return.

Four-legged friends are welcome in The Gamekeeper’s Lodge and Dalesgate Lodge. Both welcome one canine companion, potentially two if agreed in advance. Simple but stylish, both have everything you need for a stress-free stay in ‘God’s Own County’.

Located next door to The Gamekeeper’s Inn, The Gamekeeper’s Lodge is a spacious retreat sleeping up to five guests in two double ensuite bedrooms and on a pull-out sofa bed in the living room.

The woodland Dalesgate Lodge sleeps up to six people in a double bedroom, a second bedroom which can be configured as a double or a twin, and again, on a pull-out sofa bed in the living room.

Outdoor space at Long Ashes Park is plentiful with many walking trails to choose from right from the doorstep.

For The Dogs

One lucky pup is invited to join you when staying at Long Ashes Park, but a second pooch is a possibility if agreed in advance.

The Area

With rolling hills, wild uplands, meandering rivers and picturesque towns and villages, the Yorkshire Dales are rich in dog friendly days out and adventures. Tick off some local film locations by visiting two of the area’s most famous waterfalls. Hardraw Force and Aysgarth Falls were used for the 1991 film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Both sites welcome dogs and water-loving pups are guaranteed to have the time of their lives splashing around in the river.
