Overview
A circuit around Kenmore Hill offers all the panoramic views of a bigger hill walk, for a fraction of the effort. Follow the Walk Highlands route to explore the slopes of this quiet hill, with an optional detour to the summit. You don’t even need to take the trail up to the highest point to be rewarded with the outstanding views over Loch Tay and the pretty Perthshire village of Kenmore, which are visible from the hillside path. Lovely views are ever present on this relatively easy circular walk, which you’ll probably have almost entirely to yourself.
The route is mostly across open moor and doesn’t fall into the category of strenuous effort, with the car park being handily close to the top, but you should allow around two hours to complete the walk. Sturdy boots are recommended as the trail is muddy in places – which your dog will love even if you don’t!

It has an abundance of beautiful woodland walks to explore, with a generous sprinkling of waterfalls and historic castles too. The area is stunning all year round, but is especially renowned for its fantastic displays of autumnal colour, which are best seen at the end of October and start of November.
