For dogs...
Up to three pooches are welcome to join you at Harris Hideaway for a small fee of £25 per dog per stay.
Four-legged friends are provided with their very own doggie welcome hamper which includes bowls, towels and treats, as well as special Harris Tweed gift.
Dogs are very welcome throughout the house – bring your own blanket to pop on the sofa for them – and will enjoy exploring the enclosed terrace area overlooking the sea.

You will never tire of waking up in Harris Hideaway’s super king size bed perfectly positioned to make the most of the views.
Even if you’re a shower person, you’re definitely going to be tempted by the huge wave bath … or the outdoor copper tub.
A Hebridean hamper brimming with locally sourced goodies will be waiting for you upon arrival, including a bottle of Isle of Harris gin.

Overview
Prepare to have your heart stolen by this truly unique home. With each room facing the sea, you’ll find it incredibly hard to tear yourself away from the panoramic views. But slowing down is what holidays are for.
The main living area at Harris Hideaway is an open plan haven, offering plush seating with the most stunning views over to the uninhabited island of Taransay. Guests can unwind by the log burner on chilly nights, cook up a storm in the contemporary kitchen, savour locally caught seafood at the dining table, or simply enjoy the coastal scenery through the expansive windows.
The master bedroom is designed for complete and utter indulgence, with a super king bed overlooking the ocean and a deck that invites barefoot strolls or morning yoga. A dressing area and walk-in wardrobe keep the space serene and clutter-free.
The bathroom is a restorative retreat, featuring a walk-in shower and a large wave bath, again with those mesmerising sea views. Enjoy Hebridean-made, vegan toiletries by Ishga, enhancing the relaxation experience.
An extra treat is the sauna with its muted grey Aspen wood walls and attached shower room. But our favourite spot is the outdoor copper tub where you can soak under the stars to the sound of the waves or watch for otters and seals in the bay below.

Please bear in mind that the property is located on a working croft with sheep and deer all around.

Special Instructions
Dogs are welcome throughout the house but not on the bed. If your four-legged friends are sofa snugglers, please bring their favourite blankets for them to sit on.
The Area
The Isle of Harris is a paradise for nature lovers and adventurer seekers. From the white sandy beaches of Luskentyre and Scarista to the rugged landscapes of North Harris, the island offers endless opportunities for exploration with your pooch. Hike the dramatic Clisham Mountain, visit the historic St. Clement’s Church in Rodel, or take a boat trip to the nearby St Kilda archipelago, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For something a little more relaxing, dogs are welcome to join you on a visit to the local distillery, or you could pop into Tarbert and pick up a special Harris Tweed souvenir for you and your pooch to take home.
