For dogs...

Two furry friends are welcome to join you at Dinham Weir House for a small charge of £25 per pooch per stay.

Dogs will love relaxing with their pack in the living room with its huge windows looking out onto the courtyard and across the river.

Mortimer Forest is a short walk away and is a great place for your pooch to enjoy some fresh air while exploring the waymarked trails.

For humans...

If you win the coin toss, you’ll want to opt for the opulent master suite with its incredible balcony.

All six ensuite bedrooms have views over the river and their very own sitting rooms should you wish to sneak away from your group for a moment’s peace.

If your personal heaven is a dip in a bubbling hot tub, one can be hired at an additional cost. Simply add a request to your booking.

Overview

Dinham Weir House is a stunning retreat set on the banks of the River Teme, a short walk from the medieval market town of Ludlow. This luxury self-catering accommodation has been transformed by the new owners from a restaurant business into the ultimate holiday home for families and groups to gather together to create cherished memories.

The house comfortably sleeps 12 (plus two little ones) in six ensuite bedrooms, all with views over the river and their very own sitting rooms. Five of the bedrooms are located in the main house while the sixth can be found tucked away in The Mill House above the garage – perfect for those who want a touch more privacy.

When it comes to social spaces to hang out in, you’re spoilt for choice at Dinham Weir House. The long room, which adjoins the former chefs’ stainless steel kitchen, has a dining table that seats 14, its very own bar, and lots of comfy seating. Children will love hiding away in the den. It’s a great place to play, relax or watch a film in the deep-seated sofas.

If you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply want to plan something lovely for your holiday, chef Harry Bullock of Evatt & Bullock Co., is based right next door to Dinham Weir House and offers private dining experiences.

Outside, the courtyard garden has two outdoor dining tables that seat 12 in total along with two seating areas, one beneath the beautiful pergola and one on a terrace overlooking the river. For the grill-lovers in the group, the gas BBQ is within easy reach of the kitchen there’s fire pit for toasting marshmallows over an open flame. Bliss!

For The Dogs

Two dogs are invited to join you at Dinham Weir House for an additional fee of £25 per pooch per stay. Dog bowls are kept at the property but please bring dog beds, blankets, etc., with you.

Special Instructions

Please keep four-legged friends on the ground floor only and off the furniture. Dogs should not be left unattended in the house for any long periods of time.

The Area

You’re never far from a dog friendly adventure when staying in Ludlow. The market town boasts nearly 500 listed buildings and is brimming with independent shops and eateries who are happy to roll out the welcome mat for visiting pooches. Ludlow Castle, perched above Dinham Weir House, is one of the finest medieval ruins in England and dogs on leads are welcomed in all areas, including the tea room. Once you’ve explored the castle, head down to the river below for a dip. It’s a veritable haven on a hot day, for both four-legged friends and their humans.
