For dogs...

With an abundance of cosy corners, the downstairs space is super roomy for pooches to explore and find a quiet corner to curl up in.

The large lawn on the top tier of the garden is landscaped and surrounded by a fence, making it safe for pup and child-friendly play.

There are lots of lovely walks in the area. The nearby town of Somerton is very dog friendly while Ham Hill Country Park is just a short drive away.

For humans...

With an open plan kitchen and dining area, two lovely living rooms as well as a quiet reading nook, there’s plenty of space for everyone to socialise or spread out.

Watch your favourite film in the cinema room. It has a 55-inch smart TV with Amazon Prime and Netflix.

There are hot tubs and then there’s Decoy Farm House’s hot tub that comes with out-of-this-world sunset views. You’ll love it!

Overview

At Decoy Farm House, stunning interiors and incredible views are the norm. With cosy picture-windowed corners to steal away to, and two lavish living spaces for lounging in, relaxation is at the forefront of the home’s design.

The fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and seating makes home cooking a truly sociable affair. Gather round the farmhouse table to share meals and conversation or open the large glass doors on to the entertainment area outside to dine al fresco in warmer weather. On rainy afternoons, the cinema snug complete with its 55-inch TV and comfy seating is the place to head.

Upstairs, the three beautifully styled bedrooms are perfect for a great night’s sleep … or late morning lie-ins and post-lunch naps. Complete with a king size bed, the ensuite master bedroom has amazing views over the surrounding landscape. Bedroom two has more of those spectacular countryside vistas and has a double bed. The third bedroom features a fabulous wallpapered ceiling and has a single bed with a pull out trundle for a sixth guest (unless they’d prefer to sleep on the sofa bed in the cinema room).

To the back of the property, the terrace spans the length of the house. Choose your perfect spot to enjoy a G&T in the sunshine: there are sun loungers, a rattan lounge suite and table, as well as a second dining table with seating for six. At the far side, a large hot tub bubbles away on its own decked platform and boasts beautiful views over the rural landscape.

For The Dogs

Two dogs are invited to join you at Decoy Farm House. Please bring all your own doggy equipment – bed, bowls, blankets and toys – with you.

Nearby Somerton is super dog friendly and without the hustle and bustle found in Somerset’s larger towns. With its traditional charm and beautiful architecture, it’s a place to stroll rather than rush through. Spend your days discovering the local trails and enjoying the scenery, before calling into one of the dog friendly pubs to tuck into a plate full of delicious seasonal produce.

Glastonbury Tor

This iconic landmark offers magnificent views of the Somerset Levels, Dorset, Wiltshire and Wales. Steeped in history, excavations at the top of the Tor have revealed the plans of two superimposed churches, of which only a 15th century tower remains.
