The cosy ground floor setting with easy access to the enclosed garden and the views beyond make Cowslip Retreat an impeccable choice for a dog friendly staycation. Whether you choose to sit on the sofa with the patio doors flung open or make the most of the sunny terrace, you’ll feel completely as ease watching your best four-legged friend sniff safely around the outdoor space.

Inside, you’ll find all the mod cons you need for a relaxing stay. Cook up a storm in the fully-equipped kitchen, curl up in the living room with your favourite tipple from the honesty bar and watch your favourite Netflix show on the smart TV, or snuggle up in the sumptuous king size bed and use the iPad to stream your favourite tracks through the bluetooth speakers. There’s a prime snoozing spot for your pup in front of the log burning stove but the underfloor heating throughout will keep little paws warm too.

The bathroom is located off the bedroom area and features a large tub and separate power shower. Guests are invited to warm the fluffy towels and dressing gowns on the heated rail and make the most of the complimentary Elemis toiletries.

There is also a laundry/drying room with a washing machine and tumble dryer – perfect for drying coats and boots after a day exploring the moors.

Two dogs are welcome at Cowslip Retreat for an additional charge of £50 per dog per stay.

Four-legged guests receive their very own welcome hamper featuring holiday dog tags, an LED collar, a toy, doggy shampoo, towels, treats, bowls and poop bags.

There are throws to pop on the sofa and chairs if your pup prefers to snuggle up next to you.

Parking

There is private parking for one car. An EV charging point is available for use during your stay.
