Perched on the edge of Snowdonia National Park and surrounded by ancient woodland, Conwy Falls Café is a must-visit pit stop for outdoor adventurers and their four-legged companions.
Designed by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis to complement the iconic style of Portmeirion, the café blends beautifully into its natural surroundings and offers a warm welcome to all, whether you’re tackling a mountain, chasing waterfalls, or just popping in for a peaceful cuppa.
The hearty Snowdon Breakfast is a local legend and just the kind of fuel you need before (or after) a long day on the trails. There’s also a tempting range of smoothies and milkshakes made with Parisella’s of Conwy ice cream.
Dogs are not only welcome, they’re spoiled. Add an extra sausage or rasher of bacon to your order for them, and watch their tail wag at the sight of the dedicated doggy door.
Inside, it’s all crackling fires and cosy corners, but if the sun’s shining, the window seats, terrace tables or benches out in the meadow offer front-row views of the mighty Moel Siabod.

The Area
For those who fancy stretching their legs a, the spectacular Conwy Falls (Rhaeadr y Graig Lwyd) is just a short woodland walk away – £2 for humans, free for dogs. Just be mindful that the path includes some steep sections, so it’s not ideal for pups with mobility issues. Alternatively, Gwydir Forest Park is only a short drive away and offers plenty of waymarked trails for dogs and humans alike to explore at a more leisurely pace.
