The cottages are lovely and welcoming with many cosy corners for canine companions to snuggle up in. The wood burning stoves make for excellent snoozing spots.
Set amongst 1,000 acres of gardens, parkland and woodland, incredible walks are guaranteed, and there are two off-lead areas for pooches to run free.
Nine of the ten cottages are located in the courtyard making them a great option if you want to holiday with family or friends but have your own space to retreat to.
Stone Lodge is an independent cottage on the edge of the estate and has a large, enclosed back garden and terrace – perfect for children to play and for dogs to explore.
Both young and old will love the storybook-like gardens and woodland. They’re perfect for free range fun with enough to see and do that you needn’t leave the grounds.

The ten cottages sleep between two and ten guests, and each boasts its own unique character, combining historic charm with modern comforts. Think beautifully furnished and cosy interiors, wooden beams and wood burning stoves, and picturesque views over the estate’s stunning grounds.
Nine of the cottages are located at the heart of the estate and were converted from the 19th century Combermere stables. Stone Lodge is an independent cottage, sitting on the edge of the estate, and features private parking, a large, enclosed back garden and terrace – perfect for children to play, and a secure setting for dogs to explore.
The estate’s amenities are nothing short of fantastic. You’ll have access to 1,000 acres of private parkland, offering endless opportunities for outdoor adventures. Stroll through the grounds, take a relaxing walk around the mere, or even enjoy a picnic in the enchanting woodlands. Little ones will feel like they’re stepping into one of their much-loved story books.
All ten of the cottages are pet-friendly, and one large or two smaller furry friends are welcome to join you on your countryside escape. There are plenty of fantastic local trails to explore, and you’ll arrive to find doggy essentials and treats waiting for your four-legged companions in your cottage.
For The Dogs
One large or two small dogs are permitted in each cottage, with an additional fee of £10 per pooch per night. You’ll arrive to find a sofa cover, bowls and treats waiting for your furry friends.
There are two areas on the estate where pups can happily roam free off their leads. The Pleasure Garden and Garden Wood are wonderful spaces for them to sniff around and exercise their paws.

Special Instructions
Please keep dogs downstairs during your stay, and off the furniture unless using the sofa cover. A strange place can be stressful, so please do not leave your pooch unattended in your cottage.
Dogs must be kept on a lead when near the cottages but can run free in the nearby Pleasure Garden and Garden Wood.
