Good to know

Overview

Both the breakfast and lunch menus feature firm favourites – full breakfasts, pancakes, soups and salads – with plenty of choice for vegetarians and vegans. If you’re not sure what to choose, the avocado and poached eggs on toasted Bavarian bread is a winner but the pancakes with swirls of Nutella and cherries are hard to resist. Do check the specials board too – we always spot something we love.

The coffee at Café Notos, sourced from a local roaster in North Wales, tastes incredible. However you take yours, there’s a whole host of blends to choose from guaranteed to get your day off to a great start or to sit and sip while you watch the world go by. Tuck yourself away in the corner on one of the wicker chairs or outside on one of the benches – tie rings will keep your pup secured.

If you’re local to Anglesey, Café Notos also hosts lots of lovely events from craft workshops to movies. Check out the website or follow along on Instagram to keep up to date.

For The Dogs

There are puppacinos, treats and bowls of water for canine companions but add a rasher of bacon or a sausage to your order if they’re feeling really peckish. And keep an eye out for resident pooch, Reggie, often spotted snoozing in the sun.

Opening Hours

The Area

Treat your four-legged friend to a stroll along the shore after your trip to Café Notos. We recommend heading to the south side of Rhosneigr and walking along the award-winning Broad Beach or Traeth Llydan in Welsh. It’s popular for canoeing and surfing, and its rock pools and miles of clean sand are also great for dogs and children to explore. If sandy paws are not for you, enjoy a dog walk around nearby Llyn Maelog. You can easily amble around the lake on the public footpath that hugs the shoreline.
