With 10 trails of varying lengths and difficulty, there’s something for everyone. For breathtaking views of Derwent Water and the Skiddaw and Helvellyn mountain ranges, we highly recommend the Seat How Summit Trail. And don’t miss their newest gem – the WOW Trail – a magical escape where you can immerse yourself in nature, experience the calming practice of forest bathing and enjoy a spot of birdwatching. Best of all, with no sheep in sight, your dog will love sniffing their way through the forest’s exciting trails.

Forestry England has also created something truly special for dog lovers – the Forest Walkies with Wallace & Gromit at Whinlatter! This interactive, dog friendly trail is packed with fun games and challenges designed for you and your pup to enjoy together. It’s a fantastic way to bond, practice training and make the most of your time in the woodland.
